Caduceus Symbol Why Is The Caduceus, The Symbol Of The Medical Establishment?

Why is the Caduceus, the symbol of the medical establishment? - caduceus symbol

Why is the caduceus, the symbol of the medical facility? The snakes in the caduceus represents the tree of life, and the serpent and the Bible in the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is a symbol of temptation and evil. Why does the medical profession may be indicated by a symbol font, which is representing the fountain of youth? And why not focus the medical center more on the conservation of the youth, rather than focus more on age and death?

I have never heard the explanation of the caduceus, but the following is what I heard at the Medical School:

One explanation is that the caduceus, as people with a stick to close slowly and take a worm parasite the Guinea worm, a human host is.

The draw of the worm slowly so as not to break, is one of the first acts of the practice of medicine

Oh, I know it's oh!
The Caduceus is really a symbol of Hermes, the god of medicine and Guinea worm. Guinea worm adults grow two to three meters long and around the leg when lying baby burn blisters travelto the things that make you want to water (where it grows upright nature) in all cases, be cured of the disease, as thousands of years , the worm was discovered there by his feet, but if done too quickly, the worm will turn red and kill the doctors if you learn that the worm slowly wrap (around the stick like a rotation, one or two days) the Worm whold deleted and the person is good. This is the first documented form of surgery and thus the symbol of Hermes, the god of medicine - Cristian later tried a familiar symbol to them, as heretics use
