The hardest part is seeing people that is essentially abandoned the family. Lack of care and attention by other employees, which was often limited to administrative abuse and there to get money. In an installation of pets allowed to live in private rooms. I know a parrot began to death, and nobody takes the time to find out why and to assist the client to solve the problem. The parrot was a very special part of life for clients.

Employees must be trained in customer care. It should be a meeting every two weeks to discuss management and staff to work around specific problems of customers and how with them. Med Training for side effects of medications. Personally I'd take to a customer in the emergency room, was severely dehydrated and finally in a position where I wrote an administrator for the journey if the doctor had him contact a IV.

I work in a nursing AIN, I think it is the equivalent of the ANC in the United States. It is very hard work and not only difficult for those who work there, but also people. Diffantly nursing homes need more staff to take care of these people need. From what I've seen all the people that can be satisfying their needs and not wait too long, the emotional Surport really need them because we are too busy to sit and talk time to have to do with them.

I think the 2 most important things that could really improve a nursing home that is personal and also the staff who can actually afford to sit and talk to these people. My life has completely changed her life, what was and is really difficult for them to cope, sometimes much of their emotional needs are the needs not only physyical and I think if they had more business and nursing home is a happy place .

Hope this helps. =]

I agree with the person above me. Some nursing homes often give too important to the residents of the CNA for him to do the job thoroughly and efficiently. Some people, for example, are found in urine when a corner taken not very quick in attack, because the simple fact that the ANC could be a potential for another resident a bed bath.
